About

Horsens is located in East Jutland and is known for its concerts and cultural events. With its 64,000 inhabitants it is the 8th largest city in Denmark and it offers plenty of interesting experiences for locals and tourists.

The city is located in nice surroundings to Horsens Fjord, where there is a great opportunity for a brisk walk along the water. The city has also Denmark's widest pedestrian street, with lots of cozy cafes and exciting shopping opportunities. The city's museums are also worth a visit, including Denmark's only Industrial Museum, Horsens Art Museum and the former Horsens State Prison, now converted into a museum, are all popular attractions in the city.

Baila Siempre has been contributing to the cultural events in Horsens since 2008 by having various salsa events in the city. Parties and workshops were held in the dance school several times during the year, and Baila Siempre also joins the big annual event called “Dance Day”.

Erodys Castillo moved from Cuba to Denmark in 2008 where he settled in Horsens and founded Baila Siempre along with his wife Tenna Qvist. In 2009 they opened Baila Siempre dance school, where they currently have their daily teaching in Horsens.

Erodys also teaches each week in Vejle and Kolding Salsa Association. In addition to the daily training Baila Siempre organizes salsa travels to Cuba and now also Baila Siempre Salsa Weekend.

Erodys took professional dance training in Cuba and has more than 25 years of experience as a dancer and teacher in the following styles: Salsa, Rueda de Casino, Son, Chachacha, Bachata, Rumba, Afro and Reggaeton. His greatest strengths as a teacher, in addition to the great experience, are that he is very positive, humorous and educational in his way of teaching. Erodys won the Nordic Championships in Cuban Salsa in 2009 and a year later in 2010 he won an impressive 2nd place in European Championships.

Tenna and Erodys have taught together since 2008 and both teachers are passionate about dance and put a lot of energy and commitment to teaching, so that students get the best experience every time. The couple has taught at many festivals at home and abroad, along with some of the best dancers and instructors in the world. In addition to teaching, the aim of Baila Siempre is to make people aware of Cuban salsa, as well as the culture and music in general.
